The Epoch Times (Epoch TV) has posted a very hard-hitting video documenting how the government of the Netherlands is colluding with the World Economic Forum to engineer a global food shortage that will mirror the collapse we’ve already seen under similar policies in Sri Lanka. When you understand what the agenda is, it should make you seethe. Megalomaniacs in the WEF and their stooges in national governments are seeking to remake the whole global system – the Great Reset – and are using food as a lever.
Sri Lanka rolled out programs similar to what is happening in the Netherlands. The government of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa banned the use and import of chemical fertilizers to promote the use of organic fertilizers.
Rajapaksa said he would take up the challenge of making Sri Lanka the first country in the world to eliminate the use of chemical fertilizers. The fertilizer bans led to hugely diminished crops and massive food shortages, and were made worse by fuel shortages because the government ran out of foreign currency reserves. Riots in the streets caused the president to flee.
The WEF and the UN (reference Agenda 2030) claim that nitrates (a key element in fertilizers) are one of the key causes of global warming. This author thinks that that is only a pretext for their real agenda. More on that below.
The Netherlands has put nitrate restrictions on farmers, meaning farmers have to get rid of about half of their cows. So we have been seeing massive demonstrations by farmers against the Dutch government.
Why all this angst? Many farmers lose a lot of money and can’t afford to keep working. This is killing farming in the Netherlands – the second largest food exporter in the world. And with Ukraine and Russia also being large food producers, with grain production now disrupted, this will produce a global food crisis – manufactured by elitest, inhuman policy.
Where are the policies coming from? The government of Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands since 2010, has signed up with the WEF for the Netherlands to be the world centre for a series of regional “Food Innovation Hubs” which will be a flagship initiative of the WEF’s Food Action Alliance. According to the WEF, “the Hubs will drive both high-end and low-cost innovations encompassing supply chains, partnerships and business models that can enable systemic change.”
How Does The WEF Justify This?
So – the WEF ties its initiative to a narrative about improving world food security. What arrogance these elites have about changing the practices of over half a billion smallholder farmers, and the consumption patterns of the entire world population!
Who appointed these global social engineers? Oh, and on consumption patterns: the WEF wants us to eat far less meat. No personal freedom for YOU. And fancy a burger made from bugs?
And what hypocrisy! The WEF claims there is need for global food security, but it is killing off half the food capacity of the world’s SECOND LARGEST FOOD EXPORTER (second only to the USA), at a time when world famine looms because of the massive disruption to grain exports caused by the war in Ukraine.
The WEF also ties its narrative to implementation of the UN’s Sustainable Development goals – Agenda 2030. More on that in a moment.
There is an underlying very nefarious agenda here. The anti-nitrates policy is enabling in effect a hostile takeover of Netherlands agriculture: the policy will drive down the price of agricultural land, enabling “Davos men” to buy it up cheaply, drive out competitors, and establish a monopoly both of production and the conditions of trade.
This is NOT about food security. If it was, they wouldn’t be putting farmers out of business. Or restricting nitrates. Or causing famine in places like Sri Lanka. The WEF and its acolytes are talking about remaking the world under Agenda 2030. It’s about gender programs, race programs, global warming theories, taking over agriculture, and with a big emphasis on biologically altered product (GMOs, genetically modified organisms).
The food system is immeasurably strategic. THE WEF is acting to leverage the power of the food system to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030.
What Are The 17 Sustainable Development Goals?
These are listed and briefly described on the UN’s website at https://sdgs.un.org/goals .
They are:
- No poverty
- Zero hunger
- Good health and well-being
- Quality education
- Gender equality
- Clean water and sanitation
- Affordable and clean energy
- Decent work and economic growth
- Industry, innovation and infrastructure
- Reduced inequalities
- Sustainable cities and communities
- Responsible consumption and production
- Climate action
- Life below water
- Life on land
- Peace, justice and strong institutions
- Partnerships for the goals
Sounds like Utopia, right? Very praiseworthy on the surface – Like Bob Hawke’s “no child will live in poverty by 1990” and Marxism’s “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.” But what do they mean, when you look at the fine print? We’ll come to that shortly.
The UN staged a Food Systems Summit in September 2021, with rhetoric about “tangible, positive changes to the world’s food system” and pushing for “actionable commitments” by government leaders.
So – how do you LEVERAGE food if you don’t CONTROL it? That’s why “Davos men” are taking measures to buy up the industry. Bill Gates has already become by far the largest owner of agricultural land in the United States.
Implications Of The Sustainable Development Goals
What they mean by ENDING POVERTY is global welfare programs. Food stamps, housing subsidies, handouts – which means DEPENDENCE on a massive Government.
What they mean by ENDING HUNGER is Genetically Modified Foods, government control of food, eating, bug meats, lab-grown “meats”.
What they mean by HEALTHY LIVES is universal vaccines, health screening, prevention programs, making sure you don’t have body autonomy – they make health decisions for you.
And why do you think Bill Gates is so keen on vaccines?
What they mean by GENDER EQUALITY draws on Critical Theory on race and gender – feminist policy and race policy as you see rampant now in the USA, but going global, dividing people.
What they mean by WATER SANITATION AND MANAGEMENT is government monopoly over water, where you can’t even gather water that falls on your land.
What they mean by AFFORDABLE AND SUSTAINABLE ENERGY means anti gas, anti coal, the green agenda going global – necessitating rationing out energy and reliance on an unreliable system, with prices skyrocketing because of killing off of cheap baseload sources.
What they mean by SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH means deeper regulation that will push small businesses out of the market. Government subsidies and intervention will control everything with corporate domination of the whole system – fascism.
What they mean by MAKE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES RESILIENT means banning guns, eliminating single-family homes, urbanization of everything, consolidating communities into housing complexes .
All This Means GLOBAL COMMUNISM
The newly elected Independent MP for Fowler (western Sydney) in the Australian federal parliament, Dai Le, whose family fled Vietnam by boat in the 1970s, said in her maiden speech to parliament on 5 September 2022:
“The last time I looked, a government that takes away individuals’ liberty to choose how they want to live, work and raise families was called a communist dictatorship – a political system that my family and I escaped from.”
